Derek Wong joined APV as Controller in 1997, and is responsible for all of the company's financial, administrative, legal, and personnel affairs.

Previously, Derek worked as an accountant with Coopers & Lybrand in Hong Kong, and a forex dealer with Sumitomo Bank. He earned his CPA qualification in 1996, after receiving an MBA from University of Texas at Austin in 1993.

He is fluent in Cantonese and English, and also speaks Mandarin and a bit of Japanese.
